Each year the North of England Dalmatian Club has two key fundraising events.
The first event is run by the North of England Dalmatian Club Welfare Treasurer, Joanne Cairns, who kindly organises a group of Dalmatian owners to take part in the Great North Dog Walk. The walk is 3 miles long and over 30,000 dogs and their owners representing 185 breeds take part. In June 2018 the aim is to have 101 Dalmatians walk the walk for welfare- so if you have a Dalmatian, please feel free to get in contact. If you would like to sponsor Joanne to raise money for our Charity, choose an amount and click on the PayPal Link below.
The second one is Madge Cull Fun Day. This is a fun day dedicated to the late Madge Cull who in recent years had offered her time and support to the Welfare Service. Each year we invite all of our welfare dogs and owners, along with other Dalmatian lovers across the country to come and raise money in support of the Welfare Service. The day is jam packed with fun and games and is run by the North of England Dalmatian Club Committee and Officers and Trustees of the Welfare Service. Keep an eye on our Fun Day page for details of the next event.
As well as these two events, we also have individuals who do cake sales and run Marathons to raise money. We are always happy to support such individuals, so if you are interested in raising money- please feel free to get in touch.
Another long-term fundraising method, is through selling Christmas Cards, which show Dalmatians in various Christmas antics and are drawn and painted by Anne Pilgrim, whose late mother was a long time Dalmatian exhibitor, judge and former Member and President of the Club. Finally we produce our Welfare Calendars, showing prints of some of our previous successful re-homed dogs. These are very popular and tend to sell out fast.
Our online shop will be coming soon.
